CALAMINE+ZINC OXIDE is also indicated for the asymptomatic relief of itchiness in chickenpox viral infection.
CALAMINE+ZINC OXIDE is a combination of two drugs, namely: Calamine and Zinc oxide. Calamine has astringent and anti-pruritic properties. It provides a cooling effect, thereby helps in diverting attention from itching sensation. Zinc oxide has astringent properties. It provides a soothing effect and also reflects ultraviolet radiation. Together, they help in providing relief from skin irritations.
In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as irritation, itching, redness, and rash. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
